About Registration
Many people wonder — is it hard to register a 9koi account? The answer is simple: not at all. 9koi has designed the easiest registration process for Malaysian users, with no lengthy forms to fill in or stacks of documents to submit before you can start playing.
All you need is an active Malaysian phone number, a username of your choice, and a password. In less than 3 minutes, your account is ready to use. Full KYC (identity verification) is only required when you wish to make a withdrawal exceeding a certain limit — and this is a standard protection measure to ensure the safety of your funds.
Before registering, make sure you meet the following requirements set by 9koi:
9koi strictly enforces a one-account-per-person policy. This isn't just a rule — it's how we protect all players from bonus abuse, fraud, and activities that could undermine the overall community experience. Duplicate accounts will be blocked immediately upon detection, and balances in related accounts may be forfeited in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
9koi takes the protection of your personal data seriously. All information you provide during registration — name, phone number, email — is stored on encrypted servers and will never be shared with third parties without your consent. We comply with international data protection standards and regularly update our security protocols.
Your password is stored in hashed form that cannot be read by anyone, including 9koi staff. If you forget your password, you can reset it via your registered phone number — the process takes less than 2 minutes.
